I've had tons of problems with Authentication (cookies) and the new Joomla front. The reason why I changed to Joomla (content management system) was because I thought that there would be a lot of content to manage. But it didn't turn out like that. Also, the design itself was a little limited in comparison to the earlier design, so I thought I might as well just revert back to the old one.
There are a few changes in the "new" old template, and I suggest everyone delete their temporary internet files + cookies for wolfenstein-zone.com, because if not, it will look pretty funky... But in a bad way
I've been very busy lately, but I'm slowly returning to being more active. I'll talk more with you all in the near future
Id Software always had a special place in my gaming heart - id practically invented the FPS genre and perfected class- and objective-based gameplay in my opinion. RTCW was my game back in the day, and I haven't been able to get that kind of adrenaline-rush from any other game since then. It was an amazing competition game, and it was skill- and objective-based gaming at its finest, in my opinion.
Unfortunately, I had to stop playing RTCW because of studies (I was playing 24/7 ^^) and when I finished school I wanted something new, yet with the same core gameplay elements - it had to be fast paced with objectives and classes. I found out about what I called "RTCW 2" back in 2007, and thought that this game would be the obvious successor to RTCW. After all, the Wolfenstein franchise had been all about awesome MP lately, with W:ET being an obvious testament to that.
I decided to make a website where I could share all the information I found about what is ...
September 10, 2009 - The latest NPD numbers for August were revealed today, and the newest entry on the list didn't fare nearly as well as Activision Blizzard probably hoped. Wolfenstein, the latest chapter in the acclaimed first person shooter franchise, was released on August 18. Despite its shooter roots and well-known history to help drive fans to the game, the title appears to have driven many of them away, barely selling little more than 17,000 units for its debut month.
The shooter, developed by Raven Software and published by Activision, didn't receive a horrible score across the board, with Game Stats currently listing the critic's average at 7.0. Fans, however, don't seem to share the same opinion, with an average hovering around 4.2.
